Lorenzo Lamas confirms romance with 'amazing' Heather Locklear 43 years after they first met
Lorenzo Lamas has admitted he never expected his relationship with Heather Locklear to come full circle.
Lorenzo Lamas never expected to find happiness with Heather Locklear more than 40 years after they first met.
The 68-year-old actor first met the 64-year-old bombshell while posting for Playgirl magazine in 1983, but they have sparked a romance recently which caught him unaware.
Asked if he ever imagined things coming full circle like this, Lorenzo told Fox News Digital: "The short answer is no.
"I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met."
The pair were seen together last weekend at Chiller Theatre Expo in New Jersey, as they sat side by side at tables and greeted fans.
Back in December, Lorenzo shared their Playgirl cover on X, and wrote: "I cannot believe that this was 43 years ago! Side note, speedos on request only #HeatherLocklear #Playgirl #80s"
Earlier this month, he shared the throwback photo in another post which has since been deleted, but appeared to confirm their relationship.
According to Hello! magazine, he quoted Corinthians 13:4-7, and wrote: "100 years ago. God’s grace is truly amazing.
"‘Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'"
In November last year, the pair were spotted at a dinner party in New York City, before reuniting at Barry's Steakhouse in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.
Renegade actor Lorenzo has been married six times in the past.
He has children AJ, 43, and Shayne, 41, with second wife Michele Smith, Paton 37, with ex Daphne Ashbrook, and Alexandra, 28, Victoria, 27, and Isabella, 25, with fourth wife Shauna Sand.
In June 2025, he filed for divorce from Kenna Scott after less than two years of marriage, and the former model reflected on the breakup on Instagram.
Alongside a video montage of their marriage, she wrote: “You always said ‘we packed a lot of life into our time together'.
“All I ever wanted was to love you and take care of you til our dying days. But you had different plans for us. I truly hope you find the happiness you search for but haven’t found.”
Dynasty star Heather, who has also appeared in the likes of Melrose Place, was previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee before their divorce in 1993, while she tied the knot with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora shortly after.
Last year, she ended her longterm relationship with Chris Heisser, who she first dated in high school.
He proposed in 2020, but they never got married, and split in 2005.
However, in December she revealed her openness to finding love again.
Speaking on her own What Do You What?! podcast, she said: "I pray about my family every night, and my mom especially, and my daughter being happy, and especially my dog staying alive.
"But honestly, what I want is for God to direct me toward who I’m supposed to be with, because I can’t always make good decisions, and, um, that’s my immediate one."
