Hailee Steinfeld can't resist the "cuteness" of her pets.

The 29-year-old actress doesn't like the idea of her pet pooches climbing over her furniture, but she also finds it hard to say no to them.

Speaking to Architectural Digest, Hailee shared: "I'm a little funny about this one. Emotionally, I say no, but realistically, they're family. So the rule gets bent.

"With my dogs, they're so little. The minute I sit down on the couch, they're at my feet, and it's almost impossible to resist their cuteness, and I end up picking them up. But I tend to have them freshly bathed and on a blanket."

Hailee, who recently welcomed her first child with husband Josh Allen, loves spending quality time at home.

The brunette beauty has developed a signature dish that she and Josh have become obsessed with.

She said: "It's this wonderful one-pot chicken, artichoke, orzo recipe that's kind of taken on a life of its own. We'll throw in different vegetables, and I have it down so well now that I feel free in it where I'm not following a recipe, per se, or feeling confined to certain measurements.

"I've made it enough times to where I feel like I can experiment and throw something [new] in there—maybe that's why we haven't gotten sick of it."

Hailee also shared a glimpse into her morning routine, revealing she has made a conscious effort to reduce her screen time first thing.

The Sinners star explained that she wants to wake up in a "natural, slow way".

The actress - who married Josh in 2025 - said: "I have been prioritising opening my curtains and getting natural light immediately. It used to be reaching for my phone, and then that would prolong lying in bed. Even if I jump back in bed for a little while, at least I feel like I'm waking up in a more natural, slow way."
