Wolfgang Van Halen has married his longtime love, Andraia Allsop.

The 32-year-old rocker - who is the son of the late Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli – and his partner tied the knot in the couple's living room at their home in Los Angeles in front of 90 loved ones on Sunday (15.10.23), exactly eight years to the day they had their first date.

Software engineer and photographer Andraia Allsop, also 32, explained how the pair married in the comfort of their own home to “have privacy” and a special “moment together with everyone".

In a touching tribute to his late father - who died from throat cancer in October 2020 aged 65 - Wolfgang's mother walked him down the aisle to a piece of music made by his dad.

He added to People: “The song that my father had written for me, it’s an instrumental piece called '316'. It’ll be a nice way to include my dad."

His other half - who wore a lengthy gown with lace and beading details - walked down the aisle to Dean Martin’s 'Everybody Loves Somebody'.

The couple brought the church to the house with their own stained-glass display.

Andraia said: "Our goal was just to bring all of our closest family and friends together.

"The past few years, not only with the world, but also with personal tragedies, haven't been the easiest, but we wanted to create this wedding as a celebration not only just for us to get married, but a celebration for the people we love."

In a tribute to her late grandfather, the bride had her grandmothers as her flower girls.

She shared: "Back in March, my grandfather passed away, but when he and my grandma got married early 1990s, I was about three, and so I was their flower girl.

"So I thought it would be fitting and just a nice little moment to have my mom's mom and my dad's mom be our flower girls."

The couple wanted to make sure all the loved ones they had lost were there in spirit, with Van Halen legend Eddie having a chair at the ceremony.

Wolfgang said: "We cleared out all the bookshelves and we've just lined the shelves with photos of our family, our loved ones, people who've passed, people who couldn't make it.

"We've lost important family members on both sides, so it's important to include them and have them be a part of the ceremony that we wish they were here for."

The pair got engaged last summer but admitted they feel like they've been married a long time.

Wolfgang said: "It's kind of just a formality.

"We are so already married that it's like, well, yeah, might as well make it official, because we already are."
