Britney had met Justin when they were child stars on 'The Mickey Mouse Club' in the 1990s.

They then became the hottest couple of the early 2000s as she was riding high on the success of her pop career and he was a member of boy band N*Sync.

The relationship imploded in 2002 after Britney was allegedly unfaithful and Justin infamously released the solo track 'Cry Me a River' in which he attacked his ex.

In response. Britney released the ballad 'Everytime'.

Then, 20 years after the split from Justin, Britney wrote on Instagram: "Something I never shared when I had that break up years ago was that I couldn’t talk afterward..."
