Oasis Split in 2009

The Gallagher brothers' famously turbulent relationship eventually brought Oasis to breaking point.

Noel left the band in August 2009 after a backstage confrontation with Liam at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Noel subsequently said he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", bringing the band's original run to an end after almost two decades.
