Oasis Fell Apart in 2009

The Gallagher brothers' famously fractious relationship eventually proved impossible to contain.

In August 2009, Noel quit Oasis following another confrontation with Liam shortly before a scheduled performance at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Noel said he "simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer", bringing the original Oasis era to an abrupt end after years of public arguments and backstage tensions.
