More than just a funny man
Alongside his TV work, Bill was an accomplished songwriter and musician.
He co-wrote many of The Goodies' comic songs, including The Funky Gibbon and Black Pudding Bertha, both of which became chart hits and showcased his talent beyond sketch comedy.
