Ricky Martin took a lengthy hiatus from music after welcoming twins Matteo and Valentino via surrogate in 2008.

The Livin' la Vida Loca singer – who is now a father-of-four – paid tribute to his kids after receiving the Latin Icon award at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in 2025.

The Puerto Rican star said: "Everything I do, I do it with you in mind."
