Jennifer Garner deliberately slowed her acting career while raising her three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck – with matters exacerbated by her divorce from the Argo star.

The Dallas Buyers Club star told InStyle: "When my kids were little, I worked so little, and then we had such an upheaval in our family, that I really hardly worked for a long time."
