The Queen of Pop implemented a strict no-phone policy on her Madame X Tour that commenced in New York City in 2019.

A tour source said: "Madonna wants to have an intimate experience with her audience without phones up in the air and screens separating fans from the performance. Phones are just distracting and the first two nights of the tour without them were really phenomenal.

"People loved it and appreciated it. They could just enjoy the show and interact with each other with nothing obstructing the view."
