Millie Bobby Brown
The Stranger Things star recalled being left "disheartened by the rejection" after a failed audition for Game of Thrones before landing the part of Eleven in the hit Netflix series in "one of her last goes" at acting.
She told Jimmy Fallon in 2020: "I think I was just very disheartened by the rejection, which is something that I tell everyone, is like, this industry is...just full of rejection 24/7.
"I was auditioning for commercials for anything, really. I then auditioned for Game of Thrones, and I got a no for that. And then, that's kind of when I was kind of like, oh, this is really difficult, and I guess I really wanted that role."
