Robert Pattinson

The Die My Love actor told his parents that he was ready to quit acting after auditioning for the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight – a part that would earn him global fame.

Pattinson told Today in 2019: "The audition was one of the worst auditions I did in my whole life. I remember calling my parents and saying, 'I'm done, I can't torture myself anymore.'"
