It’s a Wonderful Life has long been admired by some of Hollywood’s biggest filmmakers. In a 2011 interview with Parade, Steven Spielberg revealed that the film is a festive staple in his household. The director said: “Every single holiday we’ve loved watching the classics: It’s A Wonderful Life with James Stewart and Donna Reed, Miracle on 34th Street with Natalie Wood and Maureen O’Hara. And for some reason my kids love watching The Wizard of Oz for the hundredth time.”
