The Black Widow star has previously confronted the dangers of AI misuse after her likeness was appropriated in a deepfake video. The clip depicted her - along with other Jewish celebrities - delivering an alleged protest message to Kanye West, prompting swift backlash and concern.

ScarJo addressed the video directly, saying: “I am a Jewish woman who has no tolerance for antisemitism or hate speech of any kind. But I also firmly believe that the potential for hate speech multiplied by AI is a far greater threat than any one person who takes accountability for it.”
