The King's Speech
Portraying King George VI in 2010's The King’s Speech, Firth said he developed a stammer after the actor spent months mimicking the speech impediment his alter ego had.
He told WestSide magazine: “If I start thinking about it the worse it gets."
However, his portrayal of the monarch did win him the Academy Award for Best Actor.
