Gladiator II

Pedro Pascal joined a star-studded cast for the historical epic ‘Gladiator II’.

In the 2024 movie, Pascal portrays Marcus Acacius, a Roman general who trained under Maximus (Russell Crowe) and now leads a campaign to conquer Numidia.

His invasion disrupts the life of Lucius Verus (Paul Mescal), the son of Maximus, who is sold to slave master Macrinus (Denzel Washington) - setting the stage for a confrontation in the Colosseum.

As Acacius becomes disillusioned with the empire’s corruption, he conspires with Lucilla (Connie Nielsen) to challenge the emperors (Joseph Quinn and Fred Hechinger), but is ultimately forced into the gladiatorial arena himself.
