Paul Bettany

Before he took on the role of Vision in the MCU, Paul Bettany voiced Tony Stark’s artificial intelligence (AI) JARVIS from 2008’s ‘Iron Man’, to ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ in 2015.

Since then, Bettany has portrayed the cyborg hero in the likes of ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Wandavision’, though the actor’s original role had slipped his mind.

He admitted: “I forgot I was in ‘Iron Man’. Someone said, ‘I loved you in ‘Iron Man’. I said, ‘You've got me mixed up with someone else.’ ” 

Bettany explained his involvement in the 2008 flick had only lasted “30 minutes in a recording studio”, and so that was why he had forgotten about his role in the movie.
