Jack Black had no idea he was in ‘The Holiday’ before he was reminded of the festive flick!

The 55-year-old actor portrayed Miles in the 2006 Christmas rom-com - which starred Cameron Diaz and Jude Law - though had completely forgotten he had appeared in the movie.

When asked what his favourite Christmas film was, the ‘A Minecraft Movie’ actor said: “My favorite holiday film is, you know what, it's got to be ‘Elf’, because once again Jon Favreau … and Will Ferrell just knock it out of the park.”

After being complimented on his “humility” for not choosing his own film, Black was then reminded that he had indeed been in ‘The Holiday’.

He asked: “Do I have a Christmas movie? Which one is mine? Oh, ‘The Holiday!’ Obviously, ‘The Holiday’. [Director] Nancy Meyers ... genius!”
