The Mask

The 1994 superhero comedy featured Carrey as meek bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss opposite Cameron Diaz in her film debut. After discovering a magical mask that allows himself and his surroundings to transform, Ipkiss grows in confidence but also robs a bank, leading to problems with a local gang. The film saw Carrey recognised with his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
