Macaulay played Kevin McCallister in ‘Home Alone’, which follows the aftermath of the youngster being left behind when the rest of his enormous family go away to Paris for Christmas.

All seems fine until two thieves try and break into his house.

Culkin was one of the world's biggest child stars with appearances in beloved movies like ‘Uncle Buck' and ‘Richie Rich’.

He took a long break from acting until he played roles in ‘Party Monster’ and ‘Saved!’.

Despite 'Home Alone' being on many families' Christmas watchlist, Culkin has admitted that he struggles watch the holiday classic himself.

He said: "When I'm watching it, I'm seeing like - I'm remembering that day on set. You know, like, how I was hiding my Pepsi behind the couch. I can't watch it in the same way others can."
