You'd have to be living under a rock if you've never heard of MrBeast!
The 26-year-old content creator - whose real name is James 'Jimmy' Donaldson - has over 256 million subscribers on YouTube, making his channel the second largest on the platform behind the Indian music label T Series.
MrBeast is renowned for his generosity and spending eye-watering sums of cash for his videos, which range from financing and creating his own 'Squid Game' show – a version of the Netflix programme – and setting up a number of environmental charities, like #TeamTrees and #TeamSeas.
The influencer opened up about his expenditure and revealed he has been spending around $2.5 million per video.
He said: "I think now it is around $2.5 million each video. I don’t think it's that crazy though. Because then they’re getting a hundred million views in seven days. So, in any other media, outside of social media, that got that kind of viewership their budget would be like 50 times that."
Through his YouTube channel and other business ventures like his Feastables snack bars and the MrBest Burgers fast food chain, Jimmy is said to be earning approximately $84 million.
