Radiohead wrote the end credits music
Luhrmann personally asked alternative British band Radiohead to write a song for the end credits.
He sent them a tape of the last 20 minutes of the movie and they came up with the song ‘Exit Music (For A Film)’.
Yorke said: "When we saw the scene in which Claire Danes holds the Colt .45 against her head, we started working on the song immediately."
However, the track didn't feature on the film's official soundtrack album as Radiohead requested it was kept off as they used it for their third studio LP 'OK Computer', released in 1997.
