J.Lo revealed during an interview with Fox 5 in 2016, that she had been criticized for her decision of home-schooling her twins Emme and Max until the age of 11.

Her reason for teaching her own kids was quite valid: she didn’t want to be apart from her kids while on tour.

She said: "The most important thing is that they are with their mother – that they don’t feel abandoned. We will get them educated. Home-school is great for them when we have to do it."
