Fonzie made reading library books cool

After an episode titled 'Hard Cover' aired, which showed Henry Winkler's beloved character Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli get himself a library card and speak about the importance of reading.

It was claimed there was a 500 per cent increase in library card requests after the episode aired.
