Angela's Irish roots

Despite being born in London and living in California, Dame Angela Lansbury felt very proud of her Irish roots. The actress was the daughter of Irish actress Moyna Macgill and English politician Edgar Lansbury. She once said: "I'm eternally grateful for the Irish side of me. That's where I got my sense of comedy and whimsy."
