In 2019, Tarantino's drama 'Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood’, with 33-year-old Margot Robbie playing Sharon Tate, the late wife of director Roman Polanski.

The film is set in 1969 and follows faded actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) with the imminent Manson Family murders looming.

Speaking to Vogue, Margot revealed that she had always wanted to work with Quentin Tarantino, and that she even sent him a letter in the past that read: “I adore your films, and I would love to work with you in some capacity. Or any capacity".

Next thing that happened was that he cast her as Sharon - who was a real life victim of Charles Manson's disciples.

She recalled: “Quentin told me, ‘You will never have more fun on a movie set.’ And he was right. I had the greatest experience of my life.”
