Dr. Benjamin Franklin Pierce – M*A*S*H

Alan Alda will forever be beloved thanks to his role as Captain Benjamin Franklin ‘Hawkeye’ Pierce in CBS wartime series ‘M*A*S*H’.

In the comedy drama, Alda is Chief Surgeon of the 4077th M*A*S*H unit, he is responsible for treating those wounded in the Korean War, at the same time he finds himself excessively drinking and having some affairs here and there. Alda appeared in the show from 1972 to 1983 for a total of 256 episodes, earning five Emmy awards for his amazing performance.
