Fans of the ‘You Got It’ singer were able to see him perfom again in 2018 as a hologram in the 'In Dreams: Roy Orbison in Concert' tour.

Despite passing away in 1988 at the age of 52, BASE Hologram were able to resurect the singer/songwriter.

Marty Tudor, the company’s CEO, said at the time: “The audience was dancing in the aisles. They were singing along with the songs, and most importantly, at the end of each song, they applauded. They were applauding a projection who can’t appreciate it. I’ve seen this hundreds of times now. I know every inch of how it’s done, and still my mind accepts it as real.”
