ABBA
The iconic Swedish pop group - which consists of Agnetha Faltskog, 73, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 78, Bjorn Ulveaus, 78, and Benny Anderson, 76 - were offered millions to reform for a tour since they split in 1982.
The group did reunite in to record new music and in 2021 they announced the 'ABBA Voyage' show in London, which would feature the four members become 'ABBAtars', recreations of themselves as they performed and looked in the 1970s.
Discussing the groundbreaking project, Bjorn said: "We are pioneers in this field, to make avatars, to build digital copies that are as human beings - to the pores, through the hairs in the nose, through everything [it] will make you feel after a while that this is a human being, this is not digital, this is a video of a human being, and it’s great fun to be the pioneer and to do it in this context."
