During an interview with Marie Claire, the actress - who become a global superstar for playing Central Perk waitress Rachel Green in 'Friends' - revealed that politeness was key to making the job bearable.

She said: “I wasn’t a good waitress, but I was told that I was very nice and charming, so people liked me anyway.”
