Jim Carrey decided to prepare for his role in 'True Hallucinations' by taking magic mushrooms, though this wasn't the first time the actor had experimented.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 61-year-old movie star was on ayahuasca when he refused "to get off a mountain until he believed he could earn $10 million a picture".

That vision eventually became a reality for Jim.
