Drew Barrymore

The star rose to fame as a child actress with her part in 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial' and it didn't take long for her to experience the dark side of Hollywood as she fell into the grip of addiction at a very young age.

She said: "When I was 10-years-old, I was sitting in a room with a group of young adults who were smoking pot. I wanted to try some. Eventually that got boring, and my addict mind told me, Well, if smoking pot is cute, it’ll also be cute to get the heavier stuff. It was gradual. What I did kept getting worse and worse, and I didn’t care what anybody else thought."
