The 67-year-old songwriter - who has worked with icons such as Cher, the late Whitney Houston and Celine Dion - might have waited nine years for her collaboration with Taylor to be heard when it appeared on '1989 (Taylor's Version)', but once 'Say Don't Go' was unveiled, Diane got her flowers.

Taylor's card read: "Diane, it was a dream come true to write with you. I hope you love Say Don't Go as much as I do!! Sending the biggest hug to you! Love, Taylor."
