Michael Jackson - $115 million

The King of Pop returns to the top of the list for the first time in four years with help from the money-spinning Broadway show 'MJ: The Musical' – which made $85 million in ticket sales over the past year.

The 'Thriller' singer, who died aged 50 in 2009, made $115 million and his earnings should rise even further in the coming years with the release of the biopic 'Michael' – which will star his nephew Jaafar in the title role.
