The ‘Twilight Saga’ star can trace her equinophobia - a fear of horses - to a traumatic childhood experience.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Kristen said: "I hate them. I fell of a horse once and hurt myself really badly. I broke and dislocated my elbow when I was like nine.”

She also wasn’t happy when she was forced to ride a horse whilst shooting ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

She admitted: “I was really, really not happy about having to do all that [horseback riding]. I don’t like that — I hate that.”
