Michael J. Fox

Tragically, Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease when he was just 29.

Since his diagnosis, he has used his platform to raise awareness of the disease, and set up The Michael J. Fox Foundation, which has raised over $1.75 billion to fund research.

As he has aged, his condition has worsened.

The 62-year-old actor said: "I can’t do certain things I used to do, but I can tell stories. The stories I know best are my own stories and I found that, as I told them to people, they related to them and understood and that informed me in ways that I wasn’t aware of, so it brought this communal storytelling cycle that involved people out of my world and it was really exciting."
