The King of Rock and Roll - still loved today for songs like 'Hound Dog' and 'All Shook Up' - died at the age of 42 after years of unhealthy living and substance abuse.

He was found in an unresponsive state on the bathroom floor of his Graceland mansion on 16 August 1977, having suffered a heart attack.

If he were still alive now, he would be two years off his 90th birthday.
