The 29-year-old model was arrested in July 2023 in the Cayman Islands, after being accused of cannabis possession. The American star was investigated and was found guilty, but was released after paying a fine. Gigi’s representatives released a statement, admitting that she was carrying marihuana, but stating it was for medical purposes. Part of the document read: “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”
