Queen Silvia of Sweden

The Swedish Queen has been married to King Carl Gustaf since 1976 but had a nomadic life before royalty.

Born to a Brazilian mother and German father, she spent her formative years in Sao Paulo before completing her education in West Germany.

She received a degree in Spanish from the Munich School of Interpreting in 1969 before meeting her husband when working at 1972 Olympic Games in the same city.
