The 'Twilight' heartthrob became a teenage idol overnight after starring as the brooding Edward Cullen in the 2008 vampire flick. But prior to that Robert admits he was actually a geek growing up and preferred to play on his own.

He said: “I was very much a dork. I really liked Warhammer. I never wanted to play with anyone else because I liked to play by my own rules. I was alone a lot.”
