'I would drink every day...'

The ‘Video Game’ singer admitted that she took up drinking at the age of just 14 because she thought it was "so cool" and ended up drinking alone on a daily basis.

She said: "I was a big drinker at the time.

"I would drink every day. I would drink alone. I thought the whole concept was cool.”

However, Lana has now been sober for a number of years and compared cutting out the booze to "losing" her first love.

She said: "When I write about the thing that I've lost I feel like I'm writing about alcohol because that was the first love of my life."
