Chris Hyndman (1966-2015)

The ‘Steven and Chris’ host (1966-2015) passed away on August 3, 2015, aged 49. His body was found in front of his house, unresponsive, directly below his condominium unit.

As of today, authorities still suggest two possible causes of death: foul play or that he was responsible for his passing.

However, Chris’ mother Glenda Hyndman, told The Toronto Star that her son was a sleepwalker, and she believes that his accidental death happened when he fell off his balcony during one of his episodes.

Also, Glady Bell, a close friend of Chris and his family, told PEOPLE: “A lot of people thought foul play but that was not it. Hopefully this will bring some awareness to other people that know they have this disorder and take precautions. Who would have thought that would have happened? It is dangerous and scary, and obviously bad accidents can happen.”
