Stevie labelled her decision to wed Kim Anderson a “terrible, terrible mistake”

Kim was the widower of her late friend Robin Anderson who died in 1983 after battling leukaemia.

The songwriter says her decision to wed Kim was inspired by their loss and her desire to look after his baby son.

In 2012, she said: "And so we got married three months after she died, and it was a terrible, terrible mistake. We didn't get married because we were in love, we got married because we were grieving and it was the only way that we could feel like we were doing anything."
