Reid Ewing

Best known for his portrayal of Dylan in the hit sitcom 'Modern Family', the actor admitted he isn't always comfortable on screen due to his body dysmorphia.

He said: “Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental illness in which a person obsesses over the way he or she looks. In my case, my looks were the only thing that mattered to me.”

Reid has undergone many cosmetic procedures but has never been satisfied with the results. His first surgery was at age 19 for cheek implantes that he describes as leaving his cheeks “as hollow as a corpse’s".

He then had multiple surgeries to fix the problems that he believed the initially surgery had caused. He now believes the surgeries were unethical and ineffective.
