Harry Potter role ended his university ambitions

Pattison landed his big break when he was cast as Cedric Digory in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’.

He had planned to go to university after filming for four months but the schedule overran and he missed his chance, setting his life on a different path.

He explained: "It went so far over schedule, I couldn’t go. It was supposed to be four months, but it ended up being ten or 11."
