Travis Barker has revealed why he was hospitalised.

The Blink-182 drummer posted shots of himself at the hospital with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, 47, and daughter, Alabama Barker, 20, on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (06.10.26).

And the following day, Travis, 50, took to the social media platform to reveal he had undergone surgery after experiencing numbness in his hands since his show in September.

He posted a shot of Kourtney smiling next to him as he lay in a hospital bed, dressed in a blue gown and surgical cap, and wearing a wristband and a blood pressure monitor on his arm, with the caption: "I had surgery yesterday.

"My arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month.

"I did a nerve test Monday after my show and turns out I needed a cubital tunnel release to fix the nerve. (sic)"

The procedure is "used to treat cubital tunnel syndrome", which happens when patients have a "pinched nerve at their elbow (ulnar nerve) and typically complain of numbness in the small finger and sometimes the ring finger", according to OrthoInfo.

Travis added: "I wanted to get ahead of it and get it over with so that I can keep playing the way I play for a long long time.

"Should be good in a few weeks (sic)."

Referring to the picture of himself and Kourtney, the All the Small Things hitmaker joked: "Not sure why my wife looks so happy about this."

On Tuesday, Travis shared a shot of himself in hospital on his Instagram Stories, with Alabama pouting on a chair and on the phone beside him.

He captioned the selfie: "My baby girl came with me."

He followed it with a sweet photo of Travis kissing Kourtney as the rocker sat up in bed, a blood pressure cuff on his arm.

He captioned the upload: "And my beautiful wife by my side."

In February 2023, the Dammit artist had surgery to repair his injured finger.

Travis gave his Instagram followers a glimpse at his recovery, including physical therapy and a finger brace.

He wrote on the social media platform: "Surgery tomorrow."

Kourtney replied to the post with a series of prayer hands and heart emojis.

Travis injured the finger earlier this month as he was rehearsing with his band for Blink-182's reunion tour.

He penned on X: "I was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments."

In June 2024, Kourtney needed emergency fetal surgery because Rocky had "fluid in his lungs".

On an episode of The Kardashians, she said: "We had a terrifying scare.

"It's super rare - the condition that he had - but it's also super rare and lucky that we caught it. Thank you, God, for a successful surgery.

"I'm honestly just so grateful, I have no words."

The operation was a success, but Kourtney was "filled with fear" in the aftermath, and even more so when the symptoms returned.

She recalled: "The fluid in his lungs actually did start coming back.

"Then I watched this documentary called 'Heal' that was all about the power of positive thinking and how our thinking can really affect our health."

Kourtney's outlook changed as she decided to remain positive for the future.

She explained: "I started talking to the baby every day, saying my prayers.

"After I had that mindset shift, the fluid was completely gone, and we had not one single problem after."

Travis has Alabama and son Landon, 22, with his 51-year-old ex-wife, actress Shanna Moakler, and is stepdad to her 27-year-old daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, 53.

Kourtney, meanwhile, has sons Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11, with her 43-year-old former partner, media personality Scott Disick.
