Oasis' Noel Gallagher considers ditching booze like brother Liam ahead of 2027 tour
Oasis star Noel Gallagher is considering ditching alcohol during the band's newly-announced 2027 tour, just like his brother Liam Gallagher did for their 2025 reunion shows, because the pair have to "pick [their] battles" nowadays.

The 59-year-old singer-songwriter admitted he and Liam must "pick [their] battles" nowadays, because they cannot hit the road like they used to in the 1990s and 2000s.
Speaking to talkSPORT about the newly-announced 38-date Oasis Live '27 Tour, he said: "Liam will be off the booze and I wasn't for the last tour, but I might be for this.
"You've just got to go to bed early. We can't do it like we did in the 90s; we can't even do it like we did in the 2000s, but you've got to pick your battles."
Oasis shocked the world when they came together again for a 2025 tour, which kicked off on July 4th in Cardiff.
Just 22 days later, Noel and Liam - who previously settled their differences to reunite the band - decided they wanted to tour again following their show at London's Wembley Stadium on July 26th.
Noel said: "It was after the second Wembley show [we decided to tour again].
"Nobody really knew what was going to happen, how it was going to go.
"We did Cardiff and Manchester and by the time we got to Wembley it was decided we were going to do it."
Oasis Live '27 includes several European dates, and Noel admitted it was "always the plan" to play in the likes of Italy, France, Germany and Spain.
He added: "We couldn't not do Europe because our fans in Italy and France and Germany and Spain have been brilliant.
"It was always the plan to do that.
"The Vegas and Boston gigs we were supposed to do last year."
However, the Wonderwall hitmakers are not planning to record any new tunes to add to their repertoire.
Noel said: "There won't be any new music."
Oasis will kick off their 2027 tour with five nights at Glasgow's Celtic Park between May 21 and May 29.
They will then return home to Manchester for 11 nights at Etihad Stadium, before playing two nights in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome in July.
The Don't Look Back in Anger hitmakers then head across the pond in August for three nights at Boston's Gillette Stadium and three nights at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
The following month, Oasis will perform at Slane Castle in Ireland for two nights, before the hotly-anticipated Knebworth residency, revisiting the site of their era‑defining 1996 concerts.
Oasis will play four nights at Knebworth, with the run currently set to close at the iconic venue in their history on September 19.
