Michelle Keegan leaves radio hosts shocked with 'disgusting' eating habits

Michelle Keegan has revealed her "disgusting" eating habits.
The 39-year-old actress left Capital Breakfast's hosts Jordan North, 36, Chris Stark, 39, and Sian Welby, 40, shocked after admitting to being a sucker for dipping her Chinese takeaway - particularly chow mein and other dishes - in mayonnaise
Appearing on the radio show on Tuesday (15.09.26), Michelle said: "I have mayonnaise with my Chinese. And I don’t think that is a northern thing; I think that’s just disgusting. But I love it!"
Chris wondered when she adds the condiment and if she puts mayo on her duck pancakes.
Michelle replied: "I have it straight away. No, not the pancakes. Chow mein."
The Blame star noted she likes to dip her Chinese takeaway into mayonnaise rather than squirt it all over a dish.
Michelle said: "So, I put Chow Mein, fork, dip, dip, dip. Or, I could have a chicken wing and dip the chicken wing in the mayonnaise and then eat it.
"It’s a bit gross, isn’t it?"
Reassuring the Coronation Street alum, Chris said: "It’s good we’ve all got our flaws."
Sian quipped: "We’ve finally found one for Michelle Keegan!"
Michelle's revelation about her eating habits comes just over a week after it was reported she pulled out of a major ITV drama to focus on her family.
The star, who has an 18-month-old daughter called Palma with her 39-year-old husband, TV personality Mark Wright, was set to play a working-class barrister in the series, but withdrew a few months before filming was due to start.
Michelle has been replaced by 44-year-old Doctor Who alum Jodie Whittaker.
Insiders described the decision as a "huge blow" because Michelle had committed to the project a few months ago and a filming date had been agreed, but she dropped out before signing a contract.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Michelle was really keen to take on the meaty role, but the heavy filming schedule would take her away from daughter Palma for too long.
"The hours were quite intense, and the project was starting straight after her Netflix drama The Woods, and she just couldn’t commit.
"She is dedicated to her acting career, but like all working mums, has to prioritise being there for her family, juggling work, parenting and being present for Palma."
The Brassic entertainer recently admitted it was "daunting" returning to work for the first time after having Palma.
Speaking about drama series The Blame, she said earlier this year: "Coming back to work after having a baby is quite daunting.
"But the production were so supportive, and I was so looked after, and it was like working with family."
