Zara McDermott's sleep has been "beyond horrific" while she has been apart from boyfriend Louis Tomlinson lately, because she has been feeling "discombobulated" without the One Direction star.

The 29-year-old TV presenter has been feeling "discombobulated" without the One Direction star, so much so she hasn't slept a wink in two nights out of the last seven.
Speaking in a YouTube video, she said: "It is really, really strange. I filmed three shows in the space of a month and I've been to America and back. That's actually insane when you think about it.
"I would genuinely say my sleep situation, especially this last couple of weeks, has been beyond horrific. I was thinking the other day, this must be what it feels like when you're in the newborn trenches or when you have a child.
"This is the second time in the space of seven nights that I actually have not slept the whole night.
"Like when I say not slept the whole night, I mean I haven't had one second of sleep. I have laid there the entire night.
"I'm so used to being in bed with my partner as well, we're always together, so when we're not together, and I'm filming somewhere, and I feel a bit discombobulated.
"I'm feeling all over the shop, and then he's not there, and I sometimes just lose slight bearings of where I am and I don't have him with me."
Zara has experienced some of the "best sleep" of her life during nights she is tucked up in bed alongside Louis - who she has been dating since March 2025 - but she cannot "fully relax" at night without him nowadays.
She added: "I find it like, it's really strange, I have never been the kind of person to fall asleep in the middle of a TV show or anything, but when we're together, I'm knocked out, I'm gone, I'm literally gone, the best sleep of my life.
"When we're apart, I can't fall asleep, I cannot fall asleep. I feel like there must, there must be some kind of psychological safety thing, in like when you're with your partner, you can actually fully relax and let your guard down and actually sleep."
Zara - who previously dated TV presenter and reality TV star Sam Thompson, 33 - now "dreads" going to bed without Louis, 34, because she might not be able to fall sleep.
She said: "Whereas, yeah when we're not together, I find sleeping I actually dread going to sleep because I'm like, I'm just not going to be able to sleep properly.
"And I think maybe I've got it slightly in my own head as well nowadays."
