The couple - who took part in the debut series of the Netflix dating show in 2024 - announced they have welcomed a baby girl named Clara-Jane into the world with a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday (19.08.26).
Dental nurse Cat and civil engineer Jake shared a black-and-white shot of themselves and their newborn just moments after she was delivered, as well as a video of him walking out of hospital with Clara-Jane in a baby carrier.
The joyous upload was captioned: "Everything and more, Clara-Jane."
Fans showered the couple with congratulatory messages in the post's comments section, as one penned: "Oh!!! @jake.shill and @catherinerichards__ beyond happy for you both !!!
"So much love, best wishes and congratulations on the arrival of your daughter Clara Jane (sic)."
A second supporter typed: "Huge congratulations to you both! Enjoy every moment. What a beautiful name."
And a third follower wrote: "Congrats to you both! Beautiful exciting new venture ahead!! (sic)"
Last month, Jake, 34, and Cat, 32, posted shots from their baby shower on Instagram, and the latter said that she feels "truly blessed" with their relationship journey.
The upload's caption read: "From Love Is Blind to celebrating our beautiful baby girl together… what a journey it’s been. So grateful to have you by my side through it all and so excited for this new chapter as a family of three.
"Feeling truly blessed @jake.shill (sic)."
In February, the pair announced they were expecting.
Cat posted a picture of herself holding the sonogram and little booties while her arms were wrapped around Jake's neck, with the caption: "Our greatest adventure begins."
The couple were not matched in pods on Love Is Blind UK, with Cat being in a relationship with Freddie Powell, 34, on the show.
Per The Sun, she explained: "Jake, he was in the pods, but he wasn’t chosen. He got engaged, but he wasn’t chosen to go on the retreat.
"So not everyone is picked. Netflix only choose five couples, I was lucky enough, but sadly, he wasn’t.
"But his journey was very rough in there, like he had a rollercoaster of emotions, like the way he was treated. So I reached out to him. I hadn’t seen him.
"I only saw Freddie and the couples on the retreat, so I saw him on socials, and I was like, 'I wonder if he’s the one from the show.' So I messaged him.
"We were on FaceTime for about five hours that evening and then we spoke every day for five weeks."
